15 Minutes To Stitch 2022 - Week 34
I loved participating in Kate's Life in Pieces 15 Minutes to Stitch since 2020 and am a fan of her blog. She's continuously hosted since 2011!
My 2022 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year, same as 2021.
- Week 34: 7 of 7 = 100 %
- 173 minutes/day average across 7-days
- August 21 of 21 = 100%
- 2022: 203 of 233 = 87 %
This week was less working and more vacation. Tuesday drove Mr. Hubby Bear to a little minor surgery then on the way home we side tracked to take him out to lunch to a restaurant we haven't been to in almost 3-years. We had a great time. Then Thursday and Friday, I took off to have a long weekend with Mr. Bear and my sewing projects.
Next weekend will be Quilt Guild Retreat, AKA Quilt Camp. I'm so looking forward to my first one. I'm having a great time "preparing" projects to take with me to sew.
Below I am sharing my weekly goals that help me focus on a small task to get me breaking down large milestones into small bites.
Sew one thing:
Prior post week: OMG EPP Tablerunner - finish EPP sew together - Not Completed
This week: Quilt Trixie WIP Bag back
So, how did the sewing projects go?
Top items with progress:
1) EPP Training Tablerunner - Made progress stitching the glue based hexies using the flatback stitch and SewTites to hold the pieces together. Adding Rows 5 and 6 to 4 before attaching those to 1 through 3.
2) Tula Pink's Alchemy Quilt kit BOM: Both Months 1 and 2 are completely cut and basting is in progress, but it will wait until all Quilt Camp prep is done. Big dots, AKA poms and stripes are basted and eventually these colors will be sewn in a flower configuration:
3) Lillyella's Hold Tite Folio successfully completed to help with EPP:
4) Fat Quarter Shop's WIP Project Bag started, but had a problem quilting the base tonight so no photos
5) Boxy Clear Pouch - all pieces cut and ready to assemble
6) Jelly Roll Race of pastel batiks - pieces cut and jelly roll sorted for good layout based on Jordan Fabrics free pattern
Updating Mini Archie's Fettle Those Finishes! to continue my focus for the Third Quarter of 2022.
