15 Minutes To Stitch 2022 - Week 32

I loved participating in Kate's Life in Pieces 15 Minutes to Stitch since 2020 and am a fan of her blog. She's continuously hosted since 2011!

My 2022 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year, same as 2021.

  • Week 32: 7 of 7 = 100 %
    • 84 minutes/day average across 7-days
  • August 7 of 7 = 100%
  • 2022: 189 of 219 = 86 %
Had my first in person met up with a member of the Wool.I.Am.Gang from Instagram. Our 3 girls had a great time at a Quilt Guild's Birthday Party. It was so lovely meeting one of my kind friends in person. She even brought her Mouselet's convertible for the ladies to hang out

I have some time off booked in August and am looking forward to some extra R&R soon.

Below I am sharing my weekly goals that help me focus on a small task to get me breaking down large milestones into small bites.

Sew one thing:
Prior post week: 2 new Alchemy Month 1 fabrics cut - Not Completed
This week: Alchemy Month 1 fabrics cut and hexies basted

So, how did the sewing projects go?

Top items with progress:
1) EPP Training Tablerunner - Made progress stitching the glue based hexies using the flatback stitch and SewTites to hold the pieces together. Rows 4-6 progress made and the first paper removed from Row 5.

2) Tula Pink's Alchemy Quilt kit BOM:

Sixth of seven fabrics cut including 7 fussy cut hexies from Tula Pink's Daydreamer fabric line:

The seventh fabric is a "poms" fabric. I cut a 'dot' out of the fabric and using washable double-sided Tape stuck it to the middle of the template so I could see through it to mark the papers then to align the paper over the fabric.

3) Added a Renaissance Ribbon from the Tula Pink Curiouser line to my cross body phone pouch of fabrics from her Daydreamer line

4) Magic Colorful World has started it's Save My Bleeding Quilt soak

5) ByAnnie free pattern Petit Four Basket is in progress with hand stitching and pressing yet to complete this basket to help organize the EPP Alchemy work:
