PHD in 2023: January

First 2023 check-in with QuiltingGail to work on my list of Projects Half Done (PHD).

There were 46 projects already started before January 1, 2023. The below screenshot of my projects from the spreadsheet provided (and a little expanded) by QuiltingGail is now my 'official' list with reference numbers that I will use throughout the year.

As of January 31st, I am pleased to report that 1 UFO, #1, was completed (Blue Highlight). Two more UFO's have been progressed (Pink Highlight).

Out of the 7 new starts, 3 have been completed (Blue Highlight). The other 4 projects have been progressed (Pink Highlight). Please note that the BOM that started in January 2023 will not complete until 2024 so it's being counted as 'complete' in the numbers for easy reference.

January Projects Completed:

1) Living Room Pillow Form (2023 Project #1):

Pillow form, if anyone has a good way to make one when the pillow case is already known, please reply I had to guess and it's a little loose.

2) Custom Easy Does It (By Annie bag) for Hubby (2023 UFO #1):

Custom smaller bag sitting in front of an original pattern size Easy Does It.

3) Music Gadget Holder for SK  (2023 Project #2)

QuiltSmart interfacing Gadget Holder for hubby to go with the other items made out of the same fabric.

4) Trixie Petit Four Basket for DMT (2023 Project #5)

  1. Brilliant progress! And I think you’re right to count the BOM as complete once you’ve done that month’s sewing otherwise you won’t be able to tell at a glance whether you’re up to date or not.
