December 2022 Furtle - Fettle Those Finishes Update
December Review / Furtle
As defined by Mini Archie, ‘Furtling’ means ‘having a rummage, a delve, a look at the contents of something’. So I have furtled around to see what I have been doing this month and now I’m going to furtle around the blogs of anyone else who links up over at Archie the Wonder Dog!
-Janine at Rainbow Hare on 2/28/2019
While the FinishALong organized group was cancelled in 2020 Mini-Archie, one of my favorite online personalities, and his person started hosting a monthly progress link-up: Fettle Those Finishes!
I'm posting my weekly/monthly stats here for linking up once a month with Kate at Life In Pieces. My 2022 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year, same as 2021.
- Week 49: 7 of 7 = 100 %
- 50 minutes/day average across 7-days
- Week 50: 6 of 7 = 86 %
- 68 minutes/day average across 7-days
- Week 51: 7 of 7 = 100 %
- 72 minutes/day average across 7-days
- Week 52: 7 of 7 = 100 %
- 79 minutes/day average across 7-days
- Week 53: 6 of 7 = 86 %
- 58 minutes/day average across 7-days
- December 30 of 31 = 97%
- 2022: 331 of 365 = 91 %
December has been a fun physical discovery (after the Emergency Room visits). I've found something I needed to feel better in my body. Stretching with Joe Hippensteel of Ultimate Human Performance. I purchased the Level 1 videos and during my vacation instead of sewing more, I spent a lot of time stretching. It has made a tremendous difference for me.
I still did spend time sewing during the last week of the year vacation.
How did sewing go?

Wow! You did really well for 2022. Sorry you had to deal with ER visits, but thankfully you also learned something from it. I've started doing yoga, I need the stretching too. Good luck with your plans for 2023.
ReplyDeleteThank you! It was a relief to have so often at least 15-mins for sewing most days. The stretching is providing relief from long standing tension and aches. I'm so happy with it. I strained my back doing Yoga once and this is better for me. Good luck with Yoga. Hope 2023 provides you lots of stitching and peace!!!
DeleteWhat wonderful progress, both in sewing and with your stretches! And look at all those finishes - twelve just in one quarter, wow! Hooray for finishes *waves pompoms* Thanks for Furtling and Fettling!
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much! Your coaching on my focus technique has worked so well for me. *admires pompoms* Thank you for hosting the linky parties!!!
