15 Minutes To Stitch 2022 - Week 13

I loved participating in Kate's Life in Pieces 15 Minutes to Stitch since 2020 and am a fan of her blog. She's continuously hosted since 2011!

My 2022 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year, same as 2021.

• Week 13: 5 of 7 = 71 %
• 34 minutes/day average across 7-days
• March 17 of 27 = 63%
• 2022: 70 of 86 = 81 %

Looking forward to having Monday & Tuesday off work next week for my Birthday. Took only a couple days instead of a week because of the project load my team is dealing with. Just couldn't justify a full week off right now. So, I am still taking it easy on myself and focusing on enjoying sewing.

I am sharing my weekly goals that help me focus on a small task to get me breaking down large steps into small bites.

So, how did the sewing projects go?

Top items with progress:

1) Finished embellishing the JAX MQG quilt guild donation denim bag for a teacher. Added a scarf lightly knotted so the teacher can also use it. These were blocks created in the Geometricks training online training workshop with Brenda Gael Smith of Serendipity Patchwork. I love how they came together for this challenge/donation.

2) Miscellaneous Household sewing without pictures: Use an old T-shirt to patch Hubby's sports shorts pocket before he lost his keys. Folded over the fraying end of a sheet to keep using it on the bed as I like it.
