15 Minutes To Stitch 2021 - Week 5

I loved participating in Kate's Life in Pieces 15 Minutes to Stitch since 2020 and am a fan of her blog. She's continuously hosted since 2011!

My 2021 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year.

• Week 5: 6 of 7 = 86 %
• 52 minutes/day average across 7-days
• January: 25 of 31 = 81 %
• 2021: 25 of 31 = 81 %

This month so much is going on that slows down my sewing: work project ramping up, 15-month old puppy training, and 10-year old dog with a severe ear infection. It's been a very involved month. Luckily, I am in just the right place at the right time.

So, how did the sewing go this week?

1) Completed: Dixie-style Dachshund for my Grandmother by following the suggestions on the Shannon Fabrics Minky Cuddle basics YouTube and Theresa's suggestions on the video series on making FunkyFriendsFactory Ellie the Elephant from Minky Cuddle. 

He's so soft. I hope she enjoys him.

2) Patterns By Jen's 2021 Color Challenge - January 12" block is finished.

Still haven't finished cutting the Purple pieces for the 6" block and all the background fabrics.

3) Haven't made any progress in the last two weeks on the chapters of the Janome workbook, but the  Facebook group keeps everyone's posts since it's a work at your own pace.
