First QuiltSmart Mondo Bag - 2020 Q3 Finish-A-Long 1st Finish

This QuiltSmart Mondo Bag gift is the 1st finish in 2020 Q4 and was number 2 on the planning list HERE. This was a gift and had to be kept secret after the finish on October 29th so this post is being held back until it is received.

So, the information for my swapee in the #WoolIAmGangStNicolasDayGiftSwap2020 were that she loves the color Yellow and Elephants. Two days before I started working on this project, one of my Quilt Guild caught up on the 10" Batik Squares exchange. I received both 25 Yellow Batik Squares and a lovely Green Square with an Elephant, taken as a sign to include it in the bag. And research on the QuiltSmart website showed a way to organize the fabrics for focus panels. My favorite colors are Green and Yellow.
