Projects Status - mid-October 2018 - update1

Here's the updated steps planed out to move my Ridiculously Long Finish-A-Long list projects along from 15-Oct:

1. DONE 10/15: Cut Muslin to correct size
2. DONE 10/15: Replace sewing thread to match Muslin
3. DONE 10/15: Sew Hemmed tops of Muslin pillow case
4. DONE 10/15: French seam sides of Muslin pillow case
5. DONE 10/15: Set Muslin pillow case aside until ready to use QuiltSmart Midi bag as purse
6. DONE 10/16: Cut 108 2.5" squares out of 27 5" squares in the charm pack of 42
7. DONE 10/16: Cut apart Midi bag interfacing panels
8. DONE 10/16: Align 27 2.5" squares on each panel & Iron down to adhere
9. Select Blue Violet fabrics for block
10. Cut Blue Violet pieces
11. Match Blue Violet pieces for assembly as leaders/enders
12. Cut Dimensional Dolly Quilt pieces
13. Press triangle Dimensional pieces
14. Match Dimensional Dolly Quilt pieces for assembly as leaders/enders
15. Clean Sewing Machine, change needle, & put in the best color for bag & blue violet, maybe a gray
16. Use junk piece to start sewing bag folds
17. Sew bag folds using BV then Dimensional as the l/e
18. Measure/Cut bag lining & flannel matching sewn bag sides
19. Assemble bag exterior
20. Press flannel to lining
21. Assemble bag interior
22. Continue making steps to finish the bag & re-evaluate remaining projects finishing steps

Additional new steps between 5 & 6 above completed on 10/16 include:

1. Select Black Fabric for Hubby's new QuiltSmart Gadget Holder (GH) because he gave the Red one to his Flute teacher - he liked a Fat Quarter that I had handy
2. Order Crushed Walnut Shells for making at least 4 more GH's since Hubby agrees that they will make good Christmas presents
3. Cut 1 QuiltSmart Gadget Holder panel off of the 5-pack
4. Trim the panel before ironing to the fabric
5. Iron to the fabric & cut out
6. Follow the instructions and create the GH up until the step to stuff
7. Pull the fabric out of the bin for the RRQ Dimensional Dolly Quilt and put it on the sewing cabinet
8. Put the binder with the 2018 Color Challenge supplies on the sewing cabinet
9. Determine that the Ottoman Cover batting extra may need to be used for the Dolly Quilt
