15 Minutes To Stitch 2022 - Week 18

I loved participating in Kate's Life in Pieces 15 Minutes to Stitch since 2020 and am a fan of her blog. She's continuously hosted since 2011!

My 2022 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year, same as 2021.

  • Week 18: 6 of 7 = 86 %
    • 70 minutes/day average across 7-days
  • April 26 of 30 = 87 %
  • May 1 of 1 = 100%
  • 2022: 101 of 121 = 83 %
Life is so busy but so very much fun. We had rented a Pod to sit in the driveway to hold the stuff from the garage while the floor was refinished. Hubby (not feeling very well this week) and I completely removed everything from the Pod so it can be picked up tomorrow morning. I'm so glad we've made progress. The shelving won't be available until early June. Busy weekend but carved out some time to stitch!

Starting to feel better, less hot flashes with following Dr. Eric Berg's YouTube advise and purchasing some of his supplements. Last night I got to sleep without any hot flashes. Hope that trend continues. So nice to be well rested and get to have time to sew.

Below I am sharing my weekly goals that help me focus on a small task to get me breaking down large steps into small bites.

Sew one thing:
Prior post week: OMG Elfin Magic MugRugs - Completed 4/27
This week: 30 HB Batik Blocks for Exchange

So, how did the sewing projects go?

Top items with progress:
1) For the HoneyBeeQuilters Block Exchange due at the June meeting (I'd like to get it done for the May meeting), 60 HST's trimmed and one square attached on a single corner of each. (No photo),

2) Finished the April, One Monthly Goal (finish final 4 projects from Elfin Magic workshop last November), Tray MugRugs:
Ginger Bread House Applique 'Pot Holders' but I've made them to be tabletoppers without heat:

  1. Well done for last week, good luck with this! (I’m intrigued by the sound of the pod, was it a bit like a small shipping container? Or more a skip with a lid?!)

  2. Thank you so much! Yes, it was like a small shipping container with a roll up door. We provided our own lock while out stuff was in it. It's all gone now.
