15 Minutes To Stitch 2022 - Week 17

I loved participating in Kate's Life in Pieces 15 Minutes to Stitch since 2020 and am a fan of her blog. She's continuously hosted since 2011!


My 2022 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year, same as 2021.

  • Week 17: 5 of 7 = 71 %
    • 59 minutes/day average across 7-days
  • April 21 of 24 = 88 %
  • 2022: 95 of 114 = 83 %
Really enjoying life. Hubby has done a great job refinishing the garage. It looks so very much better. Like a real finished part of the house now.  

The last few weeks still were harder to get more than 15-minutes sewing. Two weeks in a row where  hubby played flute for a local church so I went and enjoyed the camaraderie and his performance. But I'm stretched a little thin with work, the bedroom and garage smelling like construction, and changing my diet to be healthier. 

Below I am sharing my weekly goals that help me focus on a small task to get me breaking down large steps into small bites.

So, how did the sewing projects go?

Top items with progress:
1) Continued trimming Half Square Triangles for the HoneyBeeQuilters Block Exchange due at the June meeting. I'd like to get it done for the May meeting. (No photo)

2) For the One Monthly Goal (finish final 4 projects from Elfin Magic workshop last November), started quilting the MugRug Quilt Sandwiches:

3) Quiltville Rocky Road to Grayson string quilt pattern - During quilt guild string quilting workshop, worked on creating these scrappy triangles:


Updating Mini Archie's Fettle Those Finishes! to continue my focus for the Second Quarter of 2022.
