MQG Artisan Fabrics Challenge - 2021 Q4 Finish-A-Long 3rd Finish

While I finished this quilt in October to photograph and submit to the MQG for QuiltCon 2022, the label and hanging sleeve were missing. This project is the third finish in Q4 of 2021 identified by number 130 on the planning list HERE.

The Modern Quilt Guild's 2022 Artisan Cotton Fabric Challenge sponsored by Windham Fabrics had a limited number of free fabric bundles and I luckily reserved one. It was delivered to my local MQG for pick-up. The provided/required fabrics were a cheerful, jewel-toned palette of four (MQG photo):

The submission deadline was October 31st at midnight.

Here's a redacted copy of the submission confirmation:

Close Up of some quilting:

It took some deliberation to determine that a Silver Sharpie would write the text as I wanted on the facing instead of adding more fabric and more hand stitching.

Hubby also cut a wooden dowel to the correct width for me to hang this little artwork in my office replacing a calendar that I don't use.

I am so happy to have it mounted and visible! Now that the quilt is labeled and hung I can check it off the Finish-A-Long list!
