June 2022 Furtle - Fettle Those Finishes Update

As defined by Mini Archie, ‘Furtling’ means ‘having a rummage, a delve, a look at the contents of something’. So I have furtled around to see what I have been doing this month and now I’m going to furtle around the blogs of anyone else who links up over at Archie the Wonder Dog!

While the FinishALong organized group was cancelled in 2020 Mini-Archie, one of my favorite online personalities, and his person started hosting a monthly progress link-up: Fettle Those Finishes! 

June was full of hard at work days. I am so glad to have this hobby and my husband to keep me sane. I am doing my best to focus on each project to get them done so I feel fulfilled. It's so important to keep feeling good about my self and my projects.  

How did sewing go?

June Sewing objectives realized and progressed:

1) UFO #9 / FAL #33: Geo Grid Exchange Blocks renamed Magical Colourful World

2) Trixie's top and left arm were mended by hand, but no photo

3) Hand sewing accomplishment: Added snaps to Thomas and Trixie dungarees so they fit well after they are on.

3) 19 more Donation pocket quilts for hospital:

4) Jacksonville Modern Quilt Guild June Challenge Block which was pick Black or White and add a single color that starts with the same letter as one (or more) of you initials. Here's my Black and Dark Khaki or Desert Khaki:
