15 Minutes To Stitch 2022 - Week 29

I loved participating in Kate's Life in Pieces 15 Minutes to Stitch since 2020 and am a fan of her blog. She's continuously hosted since 2011!

My 2022 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year, same as 2021.

  • Week 29: 7 of 7 = 100 %
    • 98 minutes/day average across 7-days
  • July 14 of 17 = 82%
  • 2022: 168 of 198 = 85 %
Still recovering from COVID, but really enjoying being back in the sewing swing.

Below I am sharing my weekly goals that help me focus on a small task to get me breaking down large milestones into small bites.

Sew one thing:
Prior post week: JAX MQG Donation FPP Pineapple Block - Completed 7/14
This week: Cut 1/2 Alchemy Month 1 fabrics

So, how did the sewing projects go?

Top items with progress:
1) JAX MQG Donation Block: 12.5" Pineapple FPP completed:

2) Janome 2022 Quilt A Long 6 more blocks made:

3) Alchemy 2022 BOM EPP Month 1 cutting in progress, photo from thread picking:

4) Free-Motion Fillers Challenge, my order was missing the borders panel so I did not make any progress on assembling the quilt sandwich yet.

5) EPP Training Tablerunner - Finally started stitching glue based hexies together after a lot of research. I'm using a flatback stitch and SewTites to hold the pieces together.

  2. Isn’t blogging the best way to keep track of projects? Your list is very comprehensive, and while I’m not familiar with your many “on hold” projects, your progress pictures are great! Really like the FPP pineapple block you made. Hope you continue finding satisfaction in blogging. I sure do, and don’t plan to quit. Many people have. Blogging is a great way to journal all about all sorts of things.
