15 Minutes To Stitch 2021 - Week 14

I loved participating in Kate's Life in Pieces 15 Minutes to Stitch since 2020 and am a fan of her blog. She's continuously hosted since 2011!

My 2021 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year.

• Week 14: 7 of 7 = 100 %
• 97 minutes/day average across 7-days
• March: 28 of 31 = 90 %
• April: 4 of 4 = 100 %
• 2021: 85 of 94 = 90 %

This first 2021 week of staycation has been terrific, including first session with a Hypnotist, first COVID-19 shot and getting things fixed around the property. Dryer and yard sprinklers. It was so easy to get my 15-minutes sewing in everyday this week. I'm so happy with this experience.

So, how did the sewing go?

1) Made a even more progress on the hand sewing of Thomas' arms during my COVID shot #1 waiting period. My Personal Assistant Mouselet, Nellie came along to remind me to "Keep Calm and Sew On":

2) All 42 Hexies glue basted (first glue-based project ever) and organized into a rainbow-ish layout. Need to re-watch training sewing videos and get started so I can start working on my Smitten BOM.

3) Finished adding the ruler tape to the seam allowance on the Smitten templates (photo before all were taped):

6) Picked next project to complete: 2nd Swoon Summer Festival Bag. Interfacing was cut a couple weeks ago. The interior main fabric pieces are also cut.
