15 Minutes To Stitch 2020 - Week 8
I loved participating in Kate's Life in Pieces 15 Minutes to Stitch in 2019 and am a fan of her blog. She's hosting again for 2020
My 2020 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year.
My 2020 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year.
- Week 8: 6 of 7 = 86 %
- 69 minutes/day average across 7-days
- February: 20 of 23 = 87 %
- 2020: 46 of 54 = 85 %
Being sick did not help move either work projects (took 1/2 week off) or sewing projects since I spent most of 2 full days and 2 half days in bed. But I still managed to push things along for the JAX MQG (Jacksonville Modern Quilt Guild) March Challenge a Low Volume piece.
Since last week there has been progress:
My quilt is based on Ashley of Film in the Fridge's Marcelle Plus Quilt, I'm looking to finishing this first throw quilt for myself for my own birthday.
I am now contemplating picking the quickest thing to finish off the UFO/Finish-A-Long list to get something accomplished. This would be after the Low Volume Challenge quilt is completed and before picking up Simply Sparkle Bliss to put some time between quilting activities. Something like a QuiltSmart bag, one where the fabric is either in 2.5" squares already to 5" squares so just needs to be cut twice to make 2.5". Maybe 93 or 94 from 2020 Finish-A-Long Q1 Proposed Projects. Suggestions?

Sorry you were out of commission for a couple of days last week. It's never fun being sick. Your cross blocks are looking good. Hopefully you can work in some productive stitching time today. Thank you for linking up with the 15 minutes to stitch each week.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kate. I did manage some 15-minutes to move the project forward even if it wasn't more than that when sick. I find that if I work with the fabric then close my eyes, I can imagine moving things along. I appreciate your hosting this motivating method of sewing. It helps me get started almost every night. Which leads to doing more than 15-minutes most of the time.
