15 Minutes To Stitch 2020 - Week 5

I loved participating in Kate's Life in Pieces 15 Minutes to Stitch in 2019 and am a fan of her blog. She's hosting again for 2020

My 2020 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year.
  • Week 5: 5 of 7 = 71 %
    • 73 minutes/day average across 7-days
  • January: 26 of  31 = 84 %
  • February: 2 of  2 = 100 %
  • 2020: 28 of 33 = 85 %
Having fun with my interim goals for quilt guilds and this week. Thursday night we had dinner guests from our old home state. It was such a nice visit. No sewing, lots of puppy wrangling that night.

Got a couple blocks done this week:
Carolina Moore's Block of the Week, the Sequel

Patterns By Jen January Block with Navy background
Some other things got progressed also:
Cut Kona Oyster background for all 12 blocks plus the January Yellow

All 15 Dresden Blades have their windows - Started the next step making the pointed ends on 5

What's on deck?
  1. 2/4 Quilt guild meeting:
    1. Finish the Dresden medallion and applique to the background
  2. Patterns By Jen's 2020 Color Challenge Block of the Month:
    1. Make 2nd January block with light background
    2. Make 2 February blocks: dark and light backgrounds
  3. Pick & post February One Monthly Goal
  4. Determine cutting instructions for 3/29 Guild Low Volume Challenge
  5. Continue the Cricut Maker Block of the Week Sequel as Leaders/Enders
  6. Continue patching jeans including decorative stitching planned for the one where the puppy tore above the knee
    What are you working on?

    3. I like how you posted a daily average of time sewing. I feel like I should do that just for record keeping and posterity sake. Non sewers don't really have a clue how much time our hobby takes.
