15 Minutes To Stitch 2020 - Week 7
I loved participating in Kate's Life in Pieces 15 Minutes to Stitch in 2019 and am a fan of her blog. She's hosting again for 2020
My 2020 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year.
My 2020 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year.
- Week 7: 6 of 7 = 86 %
- 78 minutes/day average across 7-days
- February: 14 of 16 = 88 %
- 2020: 40 of 47 = 85 %
Completed two donation quilt X-Plus blocks and dropped them off at today's Quilt Guild meeting:
Also finished another block from Carolina Moore's Block of the Week, the Sequel, number 6, the Star Quilt Block is complete:
Getting inspired by the JAX MQG (Jacksonville Modern Quilt Guild) March Challenge a Low Volume piece.
Pulled ALL the Low Volume fabrics from my stash, a collection of Fat Quarters, 10" squares, 5" square, 2.5" squares, a few 2.5" strips, and a limited amount of yardage. Then picked out the 10" squares and sewed them together in two long strips to then sub-cut into 10.5" lengths for the size quilt I want to make.
WHAT am I making, you ask? After finding Ashley of Film in the Fridge's Marcelle Plus Quilt, I decided I WANT ONE! (I think this counts as a squirrel!) And the due date is my birthday, sooooo, I'm looking to finish the first throw quilt for myself for my own birthday.
All the row background squares and rectangles are cut thanks to the Open Sew time after Quilt Guild meeting today.
