One Monthly Goal - November 2024 Proposed

It's time for a new One Monthly Goal, if you want to check it out head over:

I do not have good focus for sewing projects right now with the now 4-month old puppy. House training is quite a big part of my 'free' time. It will be worth it when he's grown. We're hoping to start training using FluentPet buttons, but so far he has pounced on the "potty" button then picked up the mat the button sits on and ran around the living room with his prize. Ugh. He's a strong minded and big boy!

Instead of committing hard to a goal, I'll be targeting at least one of two optional house sewing projects. Either a dust cover for hubby's magnifier light or Mail Box cover v3.

I'm still a little run down from having COVID symptoms from October 2nd through the 12th. It's all I can do to work from home, dog & puppy care ands basic house requirements.

Magnifier Lamp Dust Cover, I have ideas on how to start, but haven't really taken any actions yet.

Prior Mailbox Cover, next one should have brown-side out instead of silver:

The mailbox cover protects the box and post from the rust in the well water used to irrigate the lawn. It's been this way since the prior owner has the system put in.

What are you working on in November 2024?

  1. I'm intrigued by the idea of a mailbox cover. I'm glad there was a photo and explanation! The dust cover for the magnifier light is a great idea. I always have to dust mine off before using.

    1. Thank you for commenting. I figured out how to make the mailbox cover from one single piece of tarp and sewing 2 seams to make the fitted cover. I'm quite proud of my design and execution. It has taken 3 to get it made properly. LOL!
