November 2022 Furtle - Fettle Those Finishes Update
November Review / Furtle
As defined by Mini Archie, ‘Furtling’ means ‘having a rummage, a delve, a look at the contents of something’. So I have furtled around to see what I have been doing this month and now I’m going to furtle around the blogs of anyone else who links up over at Archie the Wonder Dog!
-Janine at Rainbow Hare on 2/28/2019
While the FinishALong organized group was cancelled in 2020 Mini-Archie, one of my favorite online personalities, and his person started hosting a monthly progress link-up: Fettle Those Finishes!
I'm posting my weekly/monthly stats here for linking up once a month with Kate at Life In Pieces. My 2022 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year, same as 2021.
- Week 45: 6 of 7 = 86 %
- 63 minutes/day average across 7-days
- Week 46: 7 of 7 = 100 %
- 132 minutes/day average across 7-days
- Week 47: 7 of 7 = 100 %
- 70 minutes/day average across 7-days
- Week 48: 7 of 7 = 100 %
- 111 minutes/day average across 7-days
- November 29 of 30 = 97%
- 2022: 304 of 337 = 90 %
November has been much more focused on both work and sewing projects. Hubby has been feeding me creatine in my breakfast smoothies. Creatine helps both with post work-out muscle recovery AND sharper mental faculties. Both seem to be working for me.
One Guild held "Elfin Magic" where we make several projects in one sewing day together. I got 4 done before retiring with hopeful instructions to complete the rest on my own.
How did sewing go?

Gosh, what a busy month! The ‘Elfin Magic’ day is a great idea, and also a great idea was to leave early rather than trying to do everything in the day. Hooray for finishes *waves pompoms* And hooray for progress! Thanks for Furtling!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It was a busy and rewarding month. Having to quilt 10 of the 12 blocks to catch up on the QAYG was a lot of work, but so rewarding. Thank you so much for the pompoms!!! I appreciate the opportunity to Furtle with our little group. *admires pompoms* Can't wait to see what we get worked on in December!!!
