June Review / Furtle
As defined by Mini Archie, ‘Furtling’ means ‘having a rummage, a delve, a look at the contents of something’. So I have furtled around to see what I have been doing this month and now I’m going to furtle around the blogs of anyone else who links up over at Archie the Wonder Dog!

To socialize with my online crafty friends I'm linking up with Mini-Archie, one of my favorite online personalities, and his person for the monthly progress link-up from
Fettle Those Finishes!
Continuing weekly stats here for possibly linking up once a month with Kate at Life In Pieces. My 2021-2024 goal was to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year. 2025 and forward, the goal is any number of minutes in a day for 50% of the year since the puppy is still under 2-years old he's a handful and I want as much time to enjoy him.
- Week 23: 7 of 7 = 100 %
- 69 minutes/day average across 7-days

June has flown by so quickly. The last half of June has been troublesome for my allergies and sinuses. The dogs and sewing and time with my husband are all balms to my soul.
Focus continues slowly on my projects planned in 2026 see my Furtle planning post
HERE.
Projects Half Done Progress update:

As of June 30th, 8 projects have been completed (Blue Highlight), 2 UFO's and 6 new projects. 1 projects completed in June (Green Highlight on completion Date), 0 UFO's and 1 new project. 6 projects progressed in June (Pink Highlight), 3 UFO's and 3 new projects.
How did sewing go?
June Project Completed:
1) While it wasn't a full project, I did manage to make 2 HST's for my local Modern Quilt Guild's Community Challenge Quilt. I'll turn them in later this month. 2025 JAX MQG Community Challenge Quilt bag 65's 2 HST's is 2026 Project 12 completed in 16-minutes.
June Projects Progressed:
1) Moon Garden Smitten2 (2026 UFO 7): Block 7A has been completed and is ready to attach to the flimsy. After 7A is attached, Setting Triangle 6A can also be attached. I prefer to add the triangles once both blocks they attach to are on the quilt. Pink Door Fabrics’ Moon Garden Smitten 2 is 2026 UFO 7, Month 6 in progress for 41-hours and 47-minutes and Month 7 in progress for 19-hours and 9-minutes out of 267-hours and 34-minutes on the entire quilt top.
2) My primary project is fully quilted! Miniature Tumbling Triangles is 2026 Project 6 in progress for 73-hours and 8-minutes estimated to be 88% complete.

3) While not yet completed, I've made progress on the January page. 2025 Embroidery 101 Sampler Book is 2026 UFO 53 with the January page in progress for 6-hours and 59-minutes out of the 20-hours and 5-minutes spent on the entire Embroidery 101 class so far.

4) I've purchased woven fabric to possibly hand embroider the BOM Key Labels I expect to make to create the flimsy I want for 2026 UFO 1.
5) No photo of my fabric pull for the AQS Mystery, Make A Little Christmas JOY from the magazine, 2026 Project 11:
6) Planning for the layout of the Quilt Guild's 2026 Exchange using EQ8 made some progress on, 2026 Project 13:
