One Monthly Goal - March 2026 Proposed
It's March, my Birthday month, and time to set a new One Monthly Goal, if you want to check it out head over:
I am focusing on one main project and listing that as my OMG. March's goal is to complete a UFO started last year, the Sue Spargo Needle Roll from a kit. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to wool, yes the actual wool, so I am replacing that with Cotton. I've placed an order with Snuggly Monkey for some additional fabrics and embroidery threads. I bought the kit because I wanted the faux leather tags, pattern interior photo:
Sue Spargo Needle Roll is 2026 UFO 52 in progress for 2-hours and 19-minutes.
While working on the needle roll as my primary project, my secondary project for March will be a Miniature quilt for the QuiltFestJax show in September. The Miniature category needs at least 12 entries to keep it going, I've got one ready and will get a second one done! This will be a Deb Tucker’s Studio 180 pattern, Tumbling Triangles. I’ve been wanting to make this pattern since my first guild had a class that I couldn’t attend. The fabrics have been selected including a backing, a focus print from my childhood checking out the scale for 2” squares and a Pink background. Miniature Tumbling Triangles is 2026 Project 6 in progress for 0-hours and 49-minutes.
What are you working on in March 2026?

Bummer about the wool. I looked up the Tumbling Triangles pattern and I like where you're going with this.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm so excited about this miniature quilt. I've also got some ideas on the Quilting Plan. Waiting for Thursday for the Snuggly Monkey supplies to continue the Needle Roll.
DeleteYour needle roll looks like a wonderful project to complete for March! Looks great to be able to identify the needles that you have! I know I have plenty of needles laying around that I do not know what type they are.
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much, Danette! Yes, I think it will be very good to have the labels available for use! Happy Stitching!!!
