2025 Fettle Those Finishes proposal

I'm linking up with one of my favorite online personalities Mini Archie the Wonder Dog and his wonderful person, Helen, to plan the top priority projects for 2025. We're sharing our lists and encouraging each other on the monthly Linky parties.

This year, I'm taking cutting back on my plans due to having our 5.5-month old Whippet puppy, Wiki and a full-time job. Also, I have more project kits in my sewing room than I can probably finish in my lifetime. 

For projects/kits that I have all the supplies will work on milestones in the following order as my priority projects without deadlines:

1. Ottoman Topper
2. Zip It Up
3. Mailbox Cover
4. Elfin Magic project 4:Storage Pod
5. Fold Fabric: progress milestone - not getting a project number
6. Easy Breezy Twin: Cut half fabric on shelf to make more kits
7. Elfin Magic project 5: Hemingway Pouches
8. Smitten2: Month 9 cut and basted
9. PBJ 2021 BOM: BOM KEY design
10. PBJ 2021 BOM: BOM KEY header
11. PBJ 2021 BOM: BOM KEY month labels
12. PBJ 2021 BOM: BOM KEY assembled
13. PBJ 2021 BOM: Flimsy

New projects that I don't have an understanding or supplies for yet:

1. Embroidery 101 monthly homework monthly project starting January 2025
2. Guild blocks
3. QOV 2025 block, not sure if I will make one
4. HB April - Abstraction Workshop
5. JM March - Pet Collage Workshop

If it's possible, in 2025, I'll try to finish ONE quilt for September's QuiltFest, the person-sized Patterns By Jen 2021 Color Challenge BOM quilt inspired to be a large size of the Doll quilt.

As is now the habit, the focus list contains 52 UFO items that were started before 2025 with fabric cutting at the very least. No new UFO's were found in 2024 which was a good change from 2023. I am ever hopeful I can continue to work on completing these as my skills increase and I get past what ever blocked me before.

That's my 2025 plan for now. I love watching the evolution of my crafting journey.
