September Review / Furtle
As defined by Mini Archie, ‘Furtling’ means ‘having a rummage, a delve, a look at the contents of something’. So I have furtled around to see what I have been doing this month and now I’m going to furtle around the blogs of anyone else who links up over at Archie the Wonder Dog!
-Janine at Rainbow Hare on 2/28/2019
To socialize with my online crafty friends I'm linking up with Mini-Archie, one of my favorite online personalities, and his person for the monthly progress link-up from
Fettle Those Finishes!
I'm posting my weekly/monthly stats here for linking up once a month with Kate at Life In Pieces. My 2023 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year, same as 2021 and 2022.
- Week 36: 7 of 7 = 100 %
- 132 minutes/day average across 7-days
- Week 37: 7 of 7 = 100 %
- 128 minutes/day average across 7-days
- Week 38: 6 of 7 = 86 %
- 90 minutes/day average across 7-days
- Week 39: 7 of 7 = 100 %
- 107 minutes/day average across 7-days
- Week 40: 7 of 7 = 100 %
- 85 minutes/day average across 5-days
- Week 41: 1 of 1 = 100 %
- 131 minutes/day average across 5-days
- September 29 of 30 = 97 %
- 2023: 261 of 273 = 96%
September continued more of the busy streak. Six Quilt Guilds in Jacksonville, FL host an all volunteer QuiltShow, QuiltFest JAX in September every year. I always volunteer to be able to attend the show and enjoy in the afternoons for the 3 days of the show. Work has continued to be a push and I'm so thrilled with how things are turning out with the extra project for a demanding client.
I'm feeling relieved by reducing my commitments to quilt guild challenges. I've been able to focus more on the projects I wanted for the last couple months.
I am receiving so much benefit by daily using the stretching protocol for focusing on Facia rather than muscles. This
YouTube by an Olympic coach has reduced my hip, knee and foot facia pain just by stretching 15-20 minutes/day. Also following the Menopause Reset by Dr. Mindy Pelz with fasting is going so much better. Husband and I have also added homemade fermented dairy (yogurt) with 3 different strains suggested by Dr. William Davis in his book
Super Gut. We are both feeling much better.
I am so lucky that I spent at least 15-minutes sewing every day in August. How did sewing go?
