PHD in 2023: July

Seventh 2023 check-in with QuiltingGail to work on my list of Projects Half Done (PHD).

There were 46 projects already started before January 1, 2023. The below screenshot of my projects from the spreadsheet provided (and a little expanded) by QuiltingGail is my 'official' list with reference numbers that I will use throughout the year.

As of July 31st, 3 UFO's are complete (Blue Highlight); none completed this month (Green Highlight on completion Date). Two other UFO's progressed (Pink Highlight) this month.

Out of the 41 starts in 2023, 32 have been completed (Blue Highlight). Six of the other nine projects have been progressed (Pink Highlight). The BOM that started in January 2023 has each month added as a separate entry.

July Projects Completed:

1) QuiltFest donation Scrappy Cat Back, 2023 Project number 36 completed in 9-hours and 5-minutes. This 15.75" square will be in the Silent Auction for QuiltFest Jacksonville in September 2023. QuiltSmart interfacing panels were used to easily make this scrappy cat shape.

2) Janome 2022 QAYG Sew-Along with Custom Headers is hung on the wall using a Medium sized Hang It Dang It because it's now ready for the Quilt Show in September (2023 Project 38):

3) Donation Pillowcase Kit (main body fabric and a coordinating cuff) for volunteer kids to sew at QuiltFest Jax in September (2023 Project 41):

    1. Thank you very much, Gail! Having adapted your tracking sheet for keeping me focused is really helping. My list of available projects is so long that it's unmanageable on it's own. Focusing on just what's currently in progress is helping me keep on target until things are finished.
