15 Minutes To Stitch 2019 - Week 17
It's a great idea to track my sewing time to provide motivation on my projects. Since I am a fan of Kate's Life in Pieces blog, her 15 Minutes to Stitch 2019 seems like the right thing to do.
My commitment started on Tuesday the 2nd of April, Stitching statistics as of Sunday, April 28:
My commitment started on Tuesday the 2nd of April, Stitching statistics as of Sunday, April 28:
- Week 17: 4 of 7 = 57 %
- 58 minutes/day average across 7-days
- April: 19 of 27 = 70 %
- 2019: 19 of 27 = 70 %
My goal is to sew more than 2 days/week (2 of 7 = 29%)
This week has proved to be very productive as the April One Month Goal - Moda Matchbox #1 as Quilt-As-You-Go block got completed AND the Moda Matchbox #2 was started. This moves forward the Q2 2019 Finish-A-Long proposed #1 - Quilt of all 9 Moda Matchboxes as wall hanging goal.
Kit #1 QAYG block completed:
MMb2 pieces cut, marked, and first round of pinning |
Next few steps:
- Hand quilt pieces together & assemble block
- Choose OMG for May & write blog post
- Design quilting pattern
- Sandwich & quilt block - border to have same 2 lines of white floss quilting as block 1
How are you doing with consistency this week?
You had a really good week. Love the stitching on your Moda Matchbox block.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much.
DeleteYou are doing wonderfully in finding time to stitch for the month! The matchbox quilts are cute, and I can not wait to see the next one finished.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Christina! I've gotten a little side-tracked this week with selling our house and then designing borders for a quilt kit purchased in Feb. But designing a layout in EQ8 counts, right?
