OMG - December Proposal

Not sure what to pick for One Monthly Goal for December with preparing to move and the holidays. I have been trying to pick things off of my ridiculously long 2018 Q4 Finish-A-Long list, but I'm not sure what that could be for December.

I know exactly what I want to finish in December: The flimsy, AKA Quilt Top, of my first Block of the Month Quilt from the 2018 Color Challenge with Jen Shaffer of Patterns By Jen.

Here are the completed 11 monthly blocks so far:

December's Black & White block needs to be created, you can get the block pattern on Patterns By Jen blog.

Here are some potential pulled fabrics to make the final block:

After making December, the 12 blocks will need to be set maybe with a sashing? Will they be on point? I am not sure, so it will be interesting. Jen is going to provide suggestions mid-December.

What are your December goals?

  2. I'm so glad you posted this. I wanted to see what all the blocks looked like together. You did an excellent job on all the blocks and made them look so easy. I struggled with the January block and then decided I had too much on my plate to do this BOM. I can't wait to see how you finish your quilt.

    1. Marti,
Thanks so much! I didn't get to touch any of the blocks until May and I didn't tackle January's block until August since I had something else red in January. It's so exciting to see it come together. WHEEEE! Thanks for commenting.
