February 2023 Furtle - Fettle Those Finishes Update

February Review / Furtle

Archie The Wonder Dog

As defined by Mini Archie, ‘Furtling’ means ‘having a rummage, a delve, a look at the contents of something’. So I have furtled around to see what I have been doing this month and now I’m going to furtle around the blogs of anyone else who links up over at Archie the Wonder Dog!

-Janine at Rainbow Hare on 2/28/2019

To socialize with my online crafty friends I'm linking up with Mini-Archie, one of my favorite online personalities, and his person for the monthly progress link-up from Fettle Those Finishes!

I'm posting my weekly/monthly stats here for linking up once a month with Kate at Life In Pieces. My 2023 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year, same as 2021 and 2022.
  • Week 6: 7 of 7 = 100 %
    • 82 minutes/day average across 7-days
  • Week 7: 7 of 7 = 10 %
    • 82 minutes/day average across 7-days
  • Week 8: 7 of 7 = 100 %
    • 116 minutes/day average across 7-days
  • Week 9: 7 of 7 = 100 %
    • 82 minutes/day average across 7-days
  • Week 10: 2 of 2 = 100 %
    • 170 minutes/day average across 7-days
  • February 28 of 28 = 100%
  • 2023: 56 of 59 = 95%
*updated paragraph*
February was all about starting a new project with a new software team at work. I love learning new systems. Luckily they needed my Project Management skills immediately so that has worked well for getting me up and running on their team. I have continued stretching and feel so much more limber since the January Stretching seminar with Joe Hippensteel of Ultimate Human Performance. I highly recommend his training (even from the videos) for anyone who wants to keep themselves limber and even get more flexible.

The dogs and I walk every morning with lots of sniffing and keeping a big gap between us and any other dogs to keep Osky relaxed and confident.
*end of update*

I still did spend time sewing. How did sewing go?

  1. What amazing progress you’ve made! Ate you finding it easier to focus on specific projects now they’re all on one list and you’re not dotting and spotting between a few of them? I love all your finishes, hooray! *waves pompoms*

    1. Thank you for this. This blog requires all comments to be moderated so they don't show up right away. Thank you for adding me to the bottom or your post. I can add 2 to the March link-up if needed. It has come to my attention that I forgot to update the paragraph of what I've been up to other than sewing. HA HA HA.
