One Monthly Goal - May 2026 Proposed
May has come. Time to set a new One Monthly Goal, if you want to check it out head over:
For 2026, I am focusing on one main project and listing that as my OMG. May's goal is to complete the Miniature quilt to submit to the QuiltFestJax show in September. The Miniature Quilt category needs at least 12 entries to keep it in the show. Last year there were less than 12 quilts; if that happens again this year then the category will be cancelled the following year. I've got one Miniature ready and this will be a second one! This quilt is a Deb Tucker’s Studio 180 pattern, Tumbling Triangles. I’d been wanting to make this pattern for 9-years since my first guild had a class that I couldn’t attend in June of 2017.
The flimsy was my April OMG and I even got it sandwiched, designed a quilt plan and started quilting. The quilt plan includes 3 phases, Yellow straight lines, Blue Tumbling Triangles and Blue straight lines. And each Phase will include 2 milestones, stitching and thread burying. I'm working my way through both the stitching and thread burying of phase 1 Yellow straight lines.

Miniature Tumbling Triangles is 2026 Project 6 in progress for 30-hours and 5-minutes estimated to be 64% complete.
