One Monthly Goal - June 2025 Proposed
Days sure are flying by as it's time for a the 6th One Monthly Goal of 2025, if you want to check it out head over:
Living with the almost 11-month old puppy is my primary focus with my full-time work from home job being the second and then the health, well-being and happiness of my 5-year old dog, husband of 25 years and myself. The puppy is settling in nicely but needs zoomies management several times per day. We love playing with soft Frisbees in the backyard. Sometimes the dog needs to zoom also, then both dogs wear soft plastic muzzles when outside together to prevent any excited biting leading to more vet bills.
All that being said, I have picking simple goals that seem within my reach to keep me positive and motivated. This month, I'm going to finish Block 6B in the Pink Door Fabric's Tula Pink's Moon Garden Smitten BOM. I love how this quilt is turning out and am looking forward to finishing this beautiful firefly block. I only work on it when I'm on a meeting for work where I'm not the primary speaker or discussion leader. I end up on calls where I'm a facilitator so to pay attention to the call (not get sucked into other work tasks) I pick up my EPP block and sew some. This block was laid out on April 30th so it's taken over a month so far to get this far. It's a slow, yet satisfying progression.
Progress on 6B so far is pictured below. MoonGarden Smitten 2 2023-2024 BOM is 2025 UFO 7 with Month 6 in Progress for 12-hours and 6-minutes out of 225-hours and 30-minutes on the entire quilt top.
Quilt Top assembled so far pictured below; Pink Door Fabrics did a great job with this pattern and color selection!
I agree--the block is beautiful and the color placements spot-on. I enjoy seeing your project progress.
