15 Minutes To Stitch 2022 - Week 16

I loved participating in Kate's Life in Pieces 15 Minutes to Stitch since 2020 and am a fan of her blog. She's continuously hosted since 2011!

My 2022 goal is to stitch at least 15-minutes 50% of the days in the year, same as 2021.

• Week 16: 6 of 7 = 86 %
• 38 minutes/day average across 7-days
• April 16 of 17 = 94 %
• 2022: 90 of 107 = 84 %

Playing with my ideas about life. Playing with my family. Enjoying even the mundane. 

Last week was harder to get more than 15-minutes sewing. Easter Sunday hubby played flute for a local church so I went and enjoyed the camaraderie and his performance.

Below I am sharing my weekly goals that help me focus on a small task to get me breaking down large steps into small bites.

Sew one thing:

So, how did the sewing projects go?

Top items with progress:

1) JayBird Quilts BOM Sew Along - Toes in the Sand. I'm making a training block quilt out of Maywood Studios Kimberbell Basics fabrics. Completed 1 Training Block (last week) and 2 Official Tula Pink fabric blocks for April, Sonoma Coast:

2) Finished cutting fabric and sew squares to make Half Square Triangles for the HoneyBeeQuilters Block Exchange due at the June meeting. I'd like to get it done in April. (No photo)

3) For the One Monthly Goal (finish final 4 projects from Elfin Magic workshop last November), put the first MugRug Quilt Sandwich together and have it ready to quilt once the Exchange blocks are done. 

4) Pressed and hemmed a piece of brown batik to disguise the back of a new piece of furniture in our living room, but haven't installed it yet.

Updating Mini Archie's Fettle Those Finishes! to continue my focus for the Second Quarter of 2022.
